Ms. Constanza Roeder Recognized With The “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” Award at IFAH Las Vegas, 2020–21
Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Ms. Constanza Roeder was conferred with the “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” award for her exceptional contributions to the healthcare industry at the fifth edition of IFAH — International Forum On Advancements In Healthcare, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.
Ms. Roeder is the Founder and CEO of Hearts Need Art: Creative Support for Patients and Caregivers. As an adolescent leukemia survivor, speaker, and thought leader in the field of Arts in Health, she is on a mission to humanize healthcare through the arts. She began singing for cancer patients in San Antonio, Texas in 2009 and founded Hearts Need Art in 2016.
Ms. Roeder is the recipient of the 2018 Graceann Durr Humanitarian Award and has been featured in ThriveGlobal, Authority Magazine, Ticker News, National Association of Teachers of Singing, and the cover of MD News Magazine.
When asked about her long-term goals and aspirations, she commented, “Our goal is to humanize healthcare through art. We try to bring in magic to this industry by introducing artists into healthcare facilities, making patients feel loved & cared in a very unique way. This also aids in creating economic opportunities for the artists in our community via our platform”.
Her impactful projects that are focused on empathy and her dedication to drive change in the healthcare sector led to her nomination and ultimately, her selection for the prestigious honor.
