Matthew P. Lawlor Honored With The “Top 100 Healthcare Leaders” Award At IFAH Las Vegas, 2020–21

Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Matthew P. Lawlor, Founder of Ceca Foundation, was recognized with the “Top 100 Healthcare Leaders” award for his exceptional contributions to the healthcare industry at the fifth edition of IFAH — International Forum On Advancements In Healthcare, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Mr. Lawlor co-founded Ceca Foundation, which is a non-profit, in 2013. Ceca is known for partnering with hospitals, nursing facilities, and other healthcare communities to honor remarkable caregivers. It offers highly affordable proprietary software, support services, and cash awards to help organizations recognize and encourage excellence, which in turn, leads to greater employee satisfaction, better retention, and improved work culture. Since its program launch, over 30,000 acts of exceptional care have been recognized.

Mr. Lawlor has a proven track record in leading successful projects in recognized organizations. After business school at Harvard, he joined Chemical Bank where he last headed its international investment company. In 1980, he was appointed a Presidential Exchange Executive in the White House/OMB. He later founded US Multitrade, a financing venture-backed technology firm. In 1989, Lawlor founded Online Resources (Nasdaq ORCC), which he led for 20 years, taking the firm from concept to successful public company.

His impactful projects over the years and his dedication to serving the healthcare sector led to his nomination and his selection for the prestigious honor that was awarded at IFAH Las Vegas, 2020–21.

When asked about his company’s future goals, initiatives, and motivations, he commented, “We are doing something different [beyond our cash awards]. Our team helps healthcare communities with support services, software, and the cultivation of best practices in patient care. We each get personal satisfaction out of our work and vision to give back.”
