Gennaro Maida Recognized With The “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” Award At IFAH Las Vegas, 2020–21.
Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Gennaro Maida was conferred with the “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” award for his exceptional contributions to the healthcare industry at the fifth edition of IFAH — International Forum On Advancements In Healthcare, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.
Mr. Maida is currently the Chief Medical Technology Officer at betweenMD.com where he facilitates the transition from innovation to the practical implementation of health monitoring technologies. He recently assisted in leading Vital Intelligence, Inc., a health monitoring and data analytics company, to a successful exit as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer.
In addition to this, he is currently a member of several advisory boards involving technologies that include telemedicine, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. Mr. Maida has also volunteered his time to review data analytics content for Packt publishing and deep learning content for Pluralsight’s MOOCs.
When asked about his initiatives and his work at betweenMD, he commented, “At betweenMD, we are focusing on the time in between physician visits to empower patients & improve their own health. In my past endeavors, I’ve been working to develop some really novel technologies to monitor vital signs.”
