Dr. Ram Peruvemba Recognized With The “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” Award At IFAH Las Vegas, 2020–21

Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Dr. Ram Peruvemba, Co-Founder and CMO at HSR.health, was conferred with the “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” award for his exceptional contributions to the healthcare industry at the fifth edition of IFAH — International Forum On Advancements In Healthcare, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Dr. Peruvemba, a dual-board certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Physician, is an expert in Health IT as well as in the clinical, regulatory, and policy issues surrounding healthcare. He leverages his expertise, professional networks, and insights to help HSR.health bring health risk information to the industry.

Dr. Peruvemba currently serves on the board of the Maryland State Medical Society and is also the President of the Maryland Society of Anesthesiologists. Through his role on the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commissions Advisory Council, Ram was instrumental in the development and implementation of the unique value-based hospital payment system, the Total Cost of Care Model, in conjunction with CMS and CMMI.

When asked about his company’s initiatives during the pandemic, he commented, “Our company has been involved in COVID response since last year, where we have developed a pandemic early warning surveillance system. Our vision on a global scale is to deploy these techniques to stop or mitigate the effects of a next pandemic.”

His impactful projects, pioneering work, and his dedication to drive change in the healthcare sector led to his nomination and his selection for the prestigious honor.
