Dr. Brian Liljenquist Recognized With The “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” Award at IFAH Las Vegas, 2020–21

Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Dr. Brian Liljenquist, Founder and CEO of Surgical Wound Care Associates, was conferred with the “Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries” award for his contributions to the healthcare industry at the fifth edition of IFAH — International Forum On Advancements In Healthcare, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Dr. Brian helps create community-based wound clinics and at-risk patient programs to implement a comprehensive wound management model throughout the US. His Surgical Wound Care Associates model uses cutting-edge biologic therapies and fundamental approaches to facilitate complex, chronic, and postoperative wound healing. This model delivers highly effective clinical results across the spectrum of patient and provider education, aggressive intervention utilizing state-of-the-art therapies, identification and treatment of underlying disease, and coordination of care for at-risk patients.

At Surgical Wound Care Associates, Dr. Brian, along with his partners and team diagnose and treat underlying diseases as well as provide cutting-edge wound care. Complex chronic wounds are routinely healed in about 2 months, and they have been successful in drastically reducing the number of below-knee amputations.
