Ava Navarro Honored With The “Top 100 Healthcare Leaders” Award At IFAH Las Vegas, 2021

Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Ava Navarro was honored with the prestigious “Top 100 Healthcare Leaders” award for her significant and tangible contributions towards the healthcare industry at the fifth edition of IFAH — International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Ava is the President and Executive Director of Healthcare Sustainability and Relief Effort, which she founded in direct response to COVID-19 and its dramatic impact on the healthcare community. With the lack of support, education, and financial assistance to small healthcare practices, she wanted to provide a solution that would allow small business owner practitioners to keep their doors open and continue to see patients safely.

Ms. Ava has in-depth knowledge in ambulatory surgery center operations and accreditation and has overseen infection control as well as safety compliance for four ASCs. In addition, she has been in ophthalmology administration and management for seven years and has experience with both large corporations as well as small, single-owner practices.

She received her Certified Ophthalmic Executive title from the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, and was featured in Administrative Eyecare magazine. Her dedication towards the development of the healthcare industry led to her nomination, and ultimately to the big win at IFAH Las Vegas, 2021.
